How to Apply

STEP BY STEP PROCESS

1. Obtain Land or Property on Lease

In order to open a CNG pump station, you must first identify land. For the station setup and customer cars, the land should be at least 1500 square feet. To guarantee adequate visibility and foot traffic, look for sites close to gas stations, busy highways, or arterial roads. Take out a long-term lease on the property.

2. Apply for Site Clearance

Before applying for the license, you need site clearance from various authorities. Following are the required NOCs and approvals.
  • Fire safety clearance certificate
  • Pollution control board consent
  • District magistrate or commissioner approval
  • Electricity board feasibility clearance
  • Gram panchayat NOC if the site is in a village area

Submit Application to OMC

An oil marketing corporation known as OMC is the source of the CNG dealership. The application form, fees, and site clearances must be submitted. Based on qualifying requirements, the OMC will assess and, if accepted, issue a letter of intent.

Fulfil LOI Conditions

The letter of intent outlines certain terms and conditions to be fulfilled by the applicant within a stipulated time frame. This includes.
  • Registering as a company
  • Providing land documents
  • Paying security deposit
  • Getting electric connection
  • Arranging finance
Once you satisfy the LOI requisites, the OMC will issue the dealership agreement.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen
  • Educational Qualifications: Minimum 12th pass or recognized equivalent
  • Age Limit: As of the date of application, the applicant must be at least 21 years old and not more than 60 years old
  • Residence: The applicant must be a resident of India as per the Income Tax Act 1962
  • Nationality: Applicant must be an Indian citizen
  • Compliance: All candidates must fulfill the bylaws of the authority
  • Land Dispute: The land where the pump is to be established must be free from any disputes
  • Ownership: The main document for the pump must be in the name of the applicant
  • Location: The CNG station should be in a location well-connected to highways or main roads
  • Land Documentation: The land used for the CNG pump must have valid, complete documents and a land map
